Installation guide

Note: Silicone sealer can be used to seal the waste water tubing into the hole in the drain pipe. However, our preferred method is to use a suitable rubber or metal grommet in a spare dishwasher inlet into the drainpipe per the image below.

Filter replacement frequency
The following intervals are general guidelines. More frequent replacement may be required in the event of any of the following:
- Reduced water pressure or no water flow
- Discoloured water or particles are present
- Taste has deteriorated
- TDS has increased (RO membrane)
Warning: Failure to replace filter cartridges may result in bacteria growth affecting water quality, blocked water flow, pump overload or system failure.
| Filter | Replacement interval | |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | PP (Polypropylene) filter | 3 months |
| 2nd | First GAC filter | 6 months |
| 3rd | Second GAC filter | 6 months |
| 4th | Reverse Osmosis Membrane | 2-3 years |
| 5th | Post carbon filter | 1 year |
Filter replacement procedure
Filter cartridges 1-3
- Close water inlet ball valve
- Unplug power supply
- Open the back side panel
- Hold the filter cartridge and turn ¼ counter clockwise. Then gently push/pull to remove.
Reverse Osmosis Membrane
RO membrane is contained within a housing. Replace the membrane as follows:
- Turn the cap of the membrane housing clockwise by hand and open
- Take off the used membrane and discard. If it is difficult to remove, please use sharp pliers to clip it to take it off. When installing the new membrane, ensure it is inserted in the correct direction or water flow will be blocked.

Post carbon filter
- First take off the JACO nuts and pull out the PE tubes at the inlet and outlet.
- Note the flow direction arrows on the cartridge. If installed incorrectly, water flow will be blocked
- Ensure JACO nuts and PE tubing are securely connected to the new in-line cartridge.
Notes:
- If leaks are noted around any connections and JACO nuts are secure, try cutting about 0.5cm off the end of the applicable PE tube and reconnect.
- If cartridges are difficult to remove there may be excess water pressure in the system. Turn on the faucet to release any pressure.
