Preparation
EZ-AQUA 250B is pre-assembled with the filters, filter cartridge base, inlet and outlet tubing, and can be installed either DIY or by qualified plumbers using the supplied assembling parts
The following tools and parts are required for the installation:
- A Phillips head or slot head, blade width 4 ~ 6mm (5/32 ~ ¼”) screwdriver.
- A pair of pliers or pluming pliers.
- Thread seal tape.
Installation steps:
- Investigate the benchtop around the sink area and pick a spot for the purifier assembly.
- There are many types of faucet aerators in the households, the three most common ones are:
- Female thread aerator
- Male thread aerator
- Unthreaded aerator (normally brass)

Operation guide
How to use
Turn on the water valve at the gooseneck faucet to collect drinking water. In case the water purifier unit is to be maintained, e.g. for filters replacement, operate the red handle on the ballcock valve to cut off the cold water.
When to change filters
Three filters, PP-250B, GC-250B and BF-250B, are used to provide full safety to the drinking water. The features are described in the product information section.
Based on an average of 4 members per household and each member drinks and uses up to 4L of water per day, the timing for replacement for each filter with its filter capacity can be calculated as the tables below :
Where the number of persons deviates from 4 or the daily usage deviates from 4L, the tables below can be consulted for alternative timing for filter replacement.
The listed filter capacity is the amount of “average municipal water” that can run through before the filter is clogged to the extent that water quality cannot be guaranteed. If the filters are not replaced at the suggested timing and usage, the effectiveness of water purification and safety may be jeopardized.
How to change filters
To replace one or more filters, follow the steps:
1) Turn off the kitchen faucet. Place EZ-AQUA 250B in the sink.
2) Release the old filter you want to change by holding the filter module base with one hand and rotate the filter counter-clockwise using the other hand. After you hear five clicks, lift the old filter upwards to remove it from the base.
3) Hold the new filter with one hand and turn it anti-clockwise to tighten it onto the base.
4) Wipe the filter cartridge base clean and place it back to the normal location.
